Otterbox Defender iPhone 7 Review
I used Otterbox on my iPhone 4 , and my 4s, then moved to Griffin, and more recently Lifeproof. As the iPhone 7 has a different positioned camera, I needed a new case, and Otterbox have won the race. So , the case arrived, and it is a hard plastic shell, with a rubber outer that you wrap over the hard plastic inner.
My Iphone that I have been looking after so carefully , and meticulously keeping it in a sock (So as not to scratch the screen) finally can live in a tough case.
It comes with a hard plastic belt clip, which when used will add protection.
The case has quite a premium feel, and is well made. The built in screen protector is tight to the phone, and when using the screen it is as if you are touching the phone. The camera is bare, and has no glass or plastic in front of it, this is great as dust always used to gather under the plastic protection of previous models.
The touch Id works well, and the rubberised grip feels reassuringly tough. The ringer on/off is hidden under a flap, and the rocker switches for the volume are rubberised and work well.
With previous cases I always struggled to pull the menus up by swiping from the very top, and the very bottom of the screen.
So, in summary, good job. It feels tough, it works well, and it was the cheapest case out there.
