Yellow Square with sun beside it on iOS 8 camera screen.
I thought I would share with you a tip on IOS 8 I stumbled upon recently. I thought the camera was good, but was lacking in someway. This weekend I discovered finally what I was doing wrong. The Yellow Square with sun beside it on iOS 8 camera screen is the key to the answer. The sun pops up when there is bright light in the scene. If you hold the sun, a line appears and you can slide the brightness up or down and thus adjust the quality of the picture.
This may sound simple to some, but it took me a while to work this out. So I pass my knowledge on.
I enclose a basic jpeg of the yellow screen as trying to photograph the iPhone was a massive pain in the ____.
This changes the quality of the photo, and if you are photographing bright skies, or dim moody skies this will dramatically improve your photo.
