Apple announces iPhone 7
September 7th 2016 Apple announced a new iPhone, a new watch, and some new headphones. Being an outdoor tech user, I thought I would share my thoughts on this announcement. Like many of you out there who have the 6S, you will be thinking is it worth upgrading.
Ive had a good think, and yes. The 7 will be a much better version of the 6S, and yes I hear you saying the 6S is great, and indeed it is. It is remarkable-even last week the 6s in real life tests smashes Samsung’s latest Note (I don’t know what version it is-Ill put the video below), but imagine an even better iPhone 6s…. It does everything better, its camera is better, the screen is better, the flash/torch is brighter, the guts are all upgraded and updated and faster. The speakers are better, the home button is better….. It might look similar, but it is all over better! And, its waterproof. So the iPhone 7-Definately a step up, and something I will be ordering Friday morning.
The Watch series 2 is something I will be keen to try. The Nike version looks ok, and the watch at last is waterproof, well, water resistant to 50m, and it has a dedicated GPS chipset, at last. Again like the Iphone7 it looks the same, but all upgraded internally. Much faster processor, much better and brighter screen ( using the watch series 2 outdoor in sunlight will be a much nicer state of affairs)
The series 2 looks good, they also have a new material. Ceramic. This I am sure we will see on the next iPhone. However at the moment it is rather pricey.
Finally Apple unvailed some new headphones, known as the AirPods. These look good. Small, light, great batteries, rechargeable, and smart. Very smart. These have micro processors inside, and the selling point is they are simple to pair and use. They are super-smart. If they fit and stay in my ear, then I will be investing, but they are expensive, well over £100
Heres a little VLOG style review…..Trying new things!!
Sorry if I looked a bit wrecked in my video, but just been out for a little cycle….(Click to see where I’ve been)
