These speakers I wanted to review, as occasionally when we are out and about, or out camping a little music is sometimes nice-and it also quells any noises that you are unsure of out there on them there moors!

Bluetooth speakers. There are loads around, and they vary in price from less than a tenner, to over £500. I got a pair of the August MS515 as I particularly liked the stereo idea. Nowadays stereo has all but disappeared in speakers, and although these are small little speakers I wanted to try them out.

First impressions out of the box was that they were relatively cool looking.Shaped like Toblerone chunks. They have micro usb charging on the back, and one is the main bluetooth receiver, and the other is a CABLED satellite speaker. The cable is about 1m long, so that is the maximum stereo length possible. So, i synced them easily via bluetooth to my phone and had a listen. They were good. Put them on a wooden table, or chest of drawers, and it really emphasises base. Make no mistake, the speakers are small, so when I say base, I simply mean lower notes. They do surprisingly well. I am constantly amazed by the quality of sound coming out of little speakers.

I particularly like using the speakers in the bath, they sit behind me in the tub, iPad is wedged behind the taps, so watching tv was never better.
