Griffin Survivor Summit Case review for iPhone 6s.
Griffin Survivor V Griffin Summit
The Summit Survivor from Griffin is the next generation survivor case. Released just a few weeks after the launch of the 6s.

First impressions are it is much slimmer than the survivor I had on my 6. It also has a more plastic-ey feel. This isn’t a down side, it means it slides into your pocket much easier than the survivor it replaces. The replacement was very rubbery and gripped to everything. So that is a massive plus. The case itself has clip close tabs for its ports. These are brilliant. They close securely, and fit well. The silent/volume rocker has a switch, it works well. The fingerprint reader linked with the speed of the 6S touch ID works amazingly, without fault. Apple pay works a treat.

The fitting of the case is different too, the front screen slides on to the rear. It fits well, and is useable.
There are 2 downsides to the case. Maybe downside is mean, but dust does get into the case, like all survivors before, this isn’t an issue really, just a bit of a pain. The other issue, or thing that is a bit odd is the screen. The plastic screen sits maybe 0.5mm above the apple screen. When you touch the screen it feels like a capacative screen. It works fine, it simply feels different.

The case is excellent though. I do like it, I will keep it and I certainly recommend it!!griffin, survivor, summit, iPhone, iphone6, iPhone 6, apple, iPhone
